Our children's area called "Pumpkin Happening" includes FREE activities like face painting, balloon creations from a clown
 artist, magic shows by Abracadabra, the Frilly-Miller show, dancing, and watching movies. Rainbow Play Systems will have several displays for kids to try out. Timberland High School Art Club in Wentzville will provide many cool photo spots. For $5 kids can paint their own pumpkin (until the pumpkins are GONE), do splatter painting, and jump all day at the bounce houses (2 for toddlers and 2 for older children).Other FREE activities include solar and star-gazing with the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri; pumpkin carving by the St. Charles Area Woodcarvers. Macaroni Kid will talk to parents and hand out info about kid-friendly opportunities for the family in the metro area. Area high schools have painted Halloween scenes, pumpkin art, and will create pumpkin sculptures. Several area youth groups and high schools will be volunteering to assist the adults.
